The Kedarnath Badrinath Yatra is a pilgrimage tour to two of the holiest shrines in India, situated in the state of Uttarakhand in the Himalayas. Kedarnath is dedicated to Lord Shiva, while Badrinath is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The tour to these temples is an essential part of the Char Dham Yatra and attracts devotees from all over the world.

DELHI TO HARIDWAR/RISHIKESH:-(By Private Car)Morning drive to haridwar / Rishikesh. On arrival check in at hotel. in the afternoon temple tour of Haridwar/Rishikesh. Overnight stay at hotel..
Rishikesh:- located in the laps of lower Himalayas, and is surrounded by scenic beauty of the hills on three sides with Holy Ganga flowing through it. The whole place is considered to be sacred as it is believed that meditation at this place leads to attainment of salvation. There are many temples-some ancient, some new along the river Ganges. Rishikesh is important not only as pilgrimage centre closely associated with the Ramayana, but also as home for many important centers of Hindu religious thought and spirituality, and as a very great Yoga Centre. There are a great many ashrams and Yoga institutes here. -
HARIDWAR/RISHIKESH - GUPTKASHI/PHATA/SONPARYAG:-Morning after breakfast drive to Guptkashi,On the way visit Devprayag,evening check in at the Resort / hotel. evening free at leisure. Overnight stay.

GUPTKASHI - KEDARNATH:-Morning drive to Fata Helipad near Gauri kund, and take a helicopter from Fata then go for Kedarnath and Darshan and afternoon back to Fata and stay in Guptakashi / Pipalkoti. Tour members should carry personal medicines.

Approx. Helicopter charges:- Rs. 6000 - 9,500/ Per person in month of May
Approx. charges for Pony : - Rs. 4000 - 5500/- Per Person
Approx. charges for Doli : - Rs. 5000 - 7500/- Per Person
OR
Early morning ( 5:00 AM) check-out from the hotel and drive to Gourikund. From here, we will start 17 Kms trek to Kedarnath. Either by walk, Doli or by horse at own cost. On arrival at Kedarnath, check-in into the Tent developed by Government ( This year too, Govt has not given permission to hotel owners in kedarnath to operate, Yatris staying at kedarnath will be provided Tented Accommodation & Food by Govt on DIRECT PAY BASIS ). In the evening visit Shankaracharya Samadhi behind the temple and take a part in evening Aarti. Overnight stay at the Hotel. Note:- above 50 year old medical is must in guptakashi/Sonparyag
NOTE:- IN CASE YOU ARE STAYING IN KEDARNTH IN DAY 03, THEN NEXT DAY(Day 04) EARLY MORNING START A TREK FROM KEDARNATHJI TO GORIKUND (8 TO 9 HOUR)
Kedarnath: is a majestic sight, standing in the middle of a wide plateau surrounded by lofty snow Covered peaks. The present temple, built in the 8th century by Adi Shankaracharya, stands adjacent to the site of an earlier temple built by the Pandavas. The inner walls of the assembly hall are decoratedwith figures of various deities and scenes from mythology. Outside the temple door a large statue of the Nandi Bull stands as guard. -

GUPTKASHI/JOSHIMATH - BADRINATH:-Morning leave for Shri Badrinath Ji. On arrival take the holy Darshan. (If time permit). Evening visit, Byas Gufa, Bheem Pul, Saraswati River, Overnight stay at hotel..
Tapt Kund: Natural thermal springs on the bank of the river Alaknanda, where it is customary to bathe before entering the Badrinath temple.
Narad Kund: A recess in the river, near Tapt Kund, forming a pool from where the Badrinath idol was recovered.
Mata Murty Temple: Devoted to the mother of Sri Badrinathji. Other important temples include SeshNetra Temple, Urvashi Temple and Charanpaduka.
Mana Village: Inhabited by an Indo-Mongolian tribe, it is the last Indian village before Tibet.
Bhim Pul: On the other side of Mana village, a massive rock forming a natural bridge lies over the roaring Saraswati River. It presents a spectacular view of water thundering down through the narrow passage under the rock and is believed to have been placed there by Bhim, the second eldest among the five Pandava brothers.
Vyas Gufa (cave): Near Mana Village, this is a rock-cave where Ved Vyas is believed to have composed the Mahabharata and the pauranic commentaries. -
BADRINATH - GARHWAL SRINAGAR:-Morning after Arti Darshan drive to Srinagar / Devperyag, on arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

GARHWAL SRINAGAR - RISHIKESH - HARIDWAR :-Morning drive to Haridwar. On arrival check in at hotel. in evening visit temples of Haridwar. Overnight stay at hotel.

HARIDWAR - DELHI :-Morning drive to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi drop you at the Airport / Railway station for onwards destination.
